Camel Spider
Tonight we found a camel spider roaming around the compound. I've heard all kinds of stories about these things, but now that I've seen one I'm convinced they are all true. They say they aren't afraid of anything...and this one kept running right at us. It was pretty cool. I found the video above so you guys could see a little clip of what they are like.

Our maintenance dudes used to pit the local scorpions vs. the centipedes. The centipede would kick it's a## 8 times out of ten. Never imagined the scorpion losing that fight. Have fun sleeping now there Tom!
Ok, so do you check your sleeping bag every night, you know how they love to cuddle up next to your toes.........

EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW i dont think that you are living in a place that i would come visit!!! yuk spiders are gross... :) hahhaaa you'll have to come to tahoe when you get back and then you can look at our little spiders! miss you T i will write you a nice long letter soon
